Going to Canada for higher education is a lifetime opportunity.

You can work and study simultaneously. You are allowed to work part-time while you take study full time.
The process involves, Applying to university and then filling for the visa.
As simple as it sounds, it involves multiple steps, you need to take care of.
Many questions which might be going around in your head right now:
Which course to choose?
What are the requirements for that particular course?
How do you apply to university?
Is there any application fee?
What will be the next step after you get admitted to the university or college?
And post that there would be a lot of questions regarding the visa application.
Main things to take care of when applying to any university!
- Relevant Course
- Go for something you want to study, do not waste time and money.
- Choose a college which offers Co-op/part-time work ex while studying
- Apply to a government college
- Apply well before the deadline (Canadian colleges programs fills very fast!
- Do not settle for any mediocre college just for the sake of getting admission and visa
- Write Excellent SOP.
- Gap: Make Sure you cover any gap you have between the studies and the work experience
Some basic things which you need to take in consideration.
Undergraduates Students:
Under Graduate: 12th pass in recent year. Maximum Gap allowed is 2-years with justification. Colleges in Canada offer 2-years diploma, 3-years advance diploma and 4-years bachelors degree.
IELTS Requirement: 6 bands in each module.
Post Graduate Student:
Generally, colleges in Canada require a minimum of 50% in Graduation.
University prefers 4, years bachelors degree. 3, years bachelors degree is acceptable at colleges.
IELTS Requirement: 6.5 Bands Overall with 6, bands in each module.
Offer Letter:
Once you have shortlisted the university and college, then you have to apply for the admission. Documents required are:
- 10th Marksheet
- 12Th Marksheet
- Graduation All Marksheet + Degree (Provisional)
- If Masters All Marksheet + Degree (Provisional)
- Passport Front and Back Copy
- CV with All work Experience mentioned in chronological order
- SOP - Letter of Intent
- Application Fee
- Backlog Summary
- Work Experience Documents
Once the offer is issued:
You need to pay the minimum deposit mentioned in the offer letter. Fee deposit is to secure the place in the program.
Then GIC Account Open
Once the fee deposited, then you have to open a bank account in a Canadian bank. Deposit $10,200.00 in the bank account which would be available for you to spend as your living expenses in Canada while you study there.
