Every student who is planning to go abroad for higher education or working professionals who are aiming to get permanent residency in countries like Australia and
Canada needs to appear in IELTS Exam.
IELTS is of Two types: IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training.
There are 4 modules in IELTS Exam: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.
IELTS Academic: For a student visa, you require 6 bands overall with no bands less than 6 (preferred for bachelors) and 6.5 bands overall with no bands less than 6 for masters.
IELTS General Training: For Permanent residency in Canada you require 8 Bands in Listening, rest can be 7 bands (each in Reading, Writing, and Speaking) for Canada.
For Australian Permanent Residency you require 7 bands each to claim 10 points and 8 bands each to claim 20 points.
